Features
Our Free Standing Rail Systems offer the power and convenience of overhead lifting, with no structural requirements for walls or ceilings.
These flexible solutions can be good options where construction is not possible, room downtime is not feasible, or when the need to mobilize bariatric patients emerges. Compatible with the Likorall® or Multirall patient lifts, most of these systems are made of aluminum and come in a variety of designs. Different rail lengths can also help accommodate most care environments. Our Free Standing Rail Systems are relatively easy to build or dismantle with just two people, less than two hours of time, and some common tools.
FreeSpan™ UltraTwin™ Traverse Rail System
The FreeSpan™ UltraTwin™ Traverse Rail System supports patients of size and can adapt according to square footage—even for an entire patient room. The dual-motor helps you position patients of size into sitting, half-sitting and lying positions, quickly and easily.
- Safe working load: 460 kg
FreeSpan™ Traverse Rail System
The FreeSpan™ Traverse Rail System works together with a Likorall® or Multirall motor. The system can support most in-bed, up-from-bed and out-of-bed applications within a specified area—effectively replacing a traversing overhead rail system.
- Safe working load: 250 kg
FreeSpan™ UltraTwin™ Straight Rail System
The FreeSpan™ UltraTwin™ Straight Rail System supports patients of size, and its wheels make it easy to position for lifting and even to move between rooms (depending on facility architecture). The dual motor helps you position patients of size into sitting, half-sitting and lying positions, quickly and easily.
- Safe working load: 500 kg
FreeSpan™ Straight Rail System
The FreeSpan™ Straight Rail System lifts and moves patients between two fixed points, directly below the rail. Its wheels make it easy to position for lifting and even to move between rooms (depending on facility architecture).
- Safe working load: 250 kg
FreeStand™ Rail System
The FreeStand™ Rail system is an entry-level, economical offering. With steel construction and limited components, it lifts and moves patients between two fixed points, directly below the rail. This system can be a good option for temporary lifting needs, or for home care use (when fixed installation is not possible due to building structure).
- Safe working load: 200 kg
